These are answers to some frequently asked questions.

1. What are the requirements to be listed at Metro-East.com?

   If you are listing a business with a physical address the address must be in Clinton, Jersey, Madison, Monroe, or St. Clair counties in Illinois.
   If you are listing an e-commerce business you must reside in Clinton, Jersey, Madison, Monroe, or St. Clair counties in Illinois. The phone number for your e-commerce business should be one of the following: (618), (217), 1-800, 1-877, or 1-888.
   We are committed to listing quality businesses and websites. We reserve the right to refuse any listing for any reason. In the case that your listing is refused your listing fee will be refunded.

2. How are payments processed?

   Payments are processed securely via PayPal.

3. What types of payment are accepted?

   Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Bank Transfers are accepted via PayPal. If you would like to pay with Cash, Check, or Money Order please contact us and we will be happy to make an arrangement that is convenient for you.

4. Why is my organization's listing 'Unconfirmed'?

   We have used data from sources such as the local Chamber of Commerce in order to create some of our listings. These listings are considered 'Unconfirmed' until they are claimed and upgraded to 'Real Local' or 'Real Local +Featured'.

5. Can Metro-East.com fill out my listing information for me?

   The short answer: Yes, absolutely!
   However, keep in mind: You know your business better than anyone. We strongly recommend that you fill out the submission form yourself or have someone with close knowledge of your business fill out the form for you.
   If these options do not appeal to you please contact us. We will ask you some questions and then complete your submission form for you.
