Former major-leaguer Brent Brede is offering hitting and pitching lessons for individual players and small groups in grades kindergarten through high school at the Backyard Homeplate facility one mile south of Trenton. Cage rental also is available at $20 per hour. Softball hitting and catching lessons are available with McKendree University's Angi Maue.
