With the success of the new retail developments along with 157 (Wal-Mart, Home Depot, etc.) the Collinsville City Council is turning its focus towards revamping existing businesses.
Collinsville Community Development Director Paul Mann said that, "Today's meeting will share plans of the proposed Northeast Business District. The redevelopment will cover some property along Belt Line Road from Keebler Road to Vandalia Street, areas along Vandalia Street from west of Wilson Avenue to Crestmoor Street and the land at the intersection of Keebler Road-Pine Lake Road and Vandalia Street."

Today's public meeting will be held 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at City Hall, and another will be held there at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
