Balls-n-Strikes, located at the Family Sportsplex in Belleville, is accepting registration for its annual High School Baseball Training Program. Programs available for six, eight and 12 weeks. Belleville East High School will host a six-week spring training baseball program for players in grades 1-12 from Jan. 11 to Feb. 22. Former Gateway Grizzlies hitting coach and player personnel director Tim Mueth and former Grizzlies player Mike Breyman are forming the Southern Illinois Swing, a new baseball organization for 2009.
