Why Metro-East.com?

Although there is no official term for the region we live in most government reports, newspapers, and encyclopedias refer to Clinton, Jersey, Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair Counties as "Metro-East." The inclusion of the hyphen between the two words is generally regarded to be more correct than "Metro East."
